35, Argentinean, divorced, 2 children I arrived in Venice without a work contract and I headed then to Genoa, my destination. I found a job in a house where I worked for two years. I met Maurizio, we became engaged and I brought over my daughter Sandra. We rented a flat with all the money that I had saved up and with the few possessions, that he had. Everything was going well until he began to treat my daughter badly. My mistake was that I allowed myself to be convinced that we needed a son. I say mistake because I should have gotten to know him better and then had a child with him. I couldn't take his ugly nature and bad behavior towards my daughter. I decided to leave and end everything because I wanted to avoid that one day, because of him, my son becomes a person like his father. I know that with the help of love, much patience and sacrifice I will succeed in making my son a valuable, respectable, and educated person. (Sanja Ivekovic)
