Uli Aigner
Uli Aigner was born in Gaming, Austria in 1965. After an apprenticeship in pottery, she studied from 1984 to 1990 at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Matheo Thun. From 1991 to 1993, she completed postgraduate studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. From 2002 to 2003 she taught as a visiting professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. In 2001 she was awarded the Förderungspreis für bildende Kunst of the City of Vienna. In 2002 she was awarded the Hilde-Goldschmidt Prize. From 2006 to 2010 she was the director of Lothringer13 - Städtische Kunsthalle Munich. Since 2011 Uli Aigner lives and works in Berlin.
