Artwork text
A label bearing the word Waterproof is stuck on the screen of a television monitor. Heavy footsteps are heard, the rattling of metal buckets, the noise of running water, sounds from what seems like an interior. Suddenly, Bechtold appears in the already familiar landscape with a bucket full of water and throws it over the screen in three swings. The Waterproof label is washed away. Muffled splashes suggest that water is trickling into the monitor. The artist is heard noisily fetching more water. The procedure is repeated. (Doris Leutgeb)
