For me, a broken fluorescent tube evoked the image of a non-technical “nature” film. I fetched the film camera, set the necessary longer exposure time, and shot this “nature” film. The drive, the pace of the “plot” is produced solely by the light conditions. As a personal commentary, I gave the visual ”plot” a completely unconnected acoustic background, but one that coincidentally seemed to synchronize with it for long stretches. (Gottfried Bechtold)
