William Wegman

William Wegman was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, USA, in 1941. In 1965, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, USA. In 1976 he completed further studies with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at the University of Illinois, Champaign, USA. The artist received numerous solo exhibitions internationally and participated twice in the 5th (1972) and 6th (1977) documenta in Kassel, Germany. William Wegman lives and works in New York.
