Heinrich Dunst

Heinrich Dunst was born in 1955 in Hallein (Salzburg), Austria, and studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Peter Weibel and Bazon Brock. In 2016 he was awarded the Austrian Art Prize. In addition to his active performance activities and numerous participations in group exhibitions, solo exhibitions have been held at the Museum Moderner Kunst Kärnten, Klagenfurt, the Kunsthalle Wien, the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere, 21er Haus, Vienna, the Galerie der Stadt Schwaz, the Kunsthalle Mainz, Mainz, the Ludwig Forum, Aachen, the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice, the Belvedere -Winterpalais, Vienna and the Vienna Secession, among others. Heinrich Dunst lives and works in Vienna.
