Artwork text

The focus of the tape/action is the interaction between the person being watched and the observer. The action consists of me spiraling around a man who is standing still. I am holding the camera in extreme close-up trying to “cover” every part of his body until the space over his head is reached. Traditionally, women played the first role and men the second one. The action was an attempt to develop a different relationship. The course of the action: Sanja: I spiral around Dalibor, holding the camera in extreme close-up. I try to “cover” every part of his body until the space above his head is reached. (Sanja Ivekovic)
