Example A: A video camera followed an imaginary line drawn through a block of houses. The camera took a picture of each wall, beginning with the façade of the block of houses and every subsequent wall of an apartment. The imaginary line was then followed in the opposite direction. A video shot was made of each wall of an apartment. Each shot was made in this way, picture after picture. Example B: This tape is a serial montage of sounds. Each window becomes a loudspeaker. Example C: A reversal of inside and outside. Visual interior – exterior sound. Visual exterior – interior sound. Example D: An object and its sound body. Static and in motion, respectively.
