Artwork text

During the course of a year I attempted to find the motif of this film— a workforce leaving the workplace—in as many variants as possible. Sources of reference were found in documentary, industrial and propaganda films, in weekly newscasts and feature films. The first camera in the history of film was focused on a factory, but a hundred years later it can be said that factories have hardly ever attracted film but on the contrary, have tended to reject it.
