Muki Pakesch

Biographie

Muki Pakesch was born in Graz in 1961. He is a composer, musician, and multimedia artist. Pakesch studied percussion at the Johann-Joseph-Fux conservatorium in Graz, electro-acoustic and experimental music at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, and visual media art at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna. In 1994 Muki Pakesch was awarded the WDR’s (West German Broadcasting) Deutscher Videokunstpreis (German video art award). In the video Der Eingang ist: Wiedner Hauptstraße 15 he documented the construction of the new building for the Generali Foundation in 1993. Muki Pakesch lives and works in Vienna.
