C. Angelmaier was born in Lower Austria in 1960. She studied sculpture with Bruno Gironcoli at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, and film and video with Nam June Paik at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. The artist is primarily interested in art in public space and art and architecture projects, and she is active as author and initiator of research projects on themes such as public space and living. She has participated in numerous exhibitions since 1981, including Wiener Bilder. Fotografien aus einer Stadt, Museum auf Abruf, Vienna (2000) and In Liebe, dein…, Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen, Innsbruck (2002). Angelmaier lives and works in Vienna.
