The Value of the “Exhibition Value”
Symposium*
Walter Benjamin opposes the exhibition value to the cult value without offering a more precise definition. The symposium ventures a variety of readings in the attempt to determine the historical and systematic place of this concept between the values of the collection and the value of the work.
