The Generali Foundation has brought out a considerable number of publications, including several sizable standard works. The emphasis lies not so much on documenting the Foundation's own activities as on the production of significant, high-quality books on contemporary art, intended chiefly for a specialist audience.

Our publications, along with posters and postcards showing works from the collection, can be purchased at Generali Foundation. You will also find detailed information on all our publications there.

  • Description

    • Representation and imagination, reality and fiction are the cornerstones of Ana Torfs’ works, which in precisely choreographed constellations of sound and image retell and recall literary, historical, and political matter in new and striking ways. The artist hereby works with actors who are emphatically factual in the embodiment of their roles. Album/Tracks A+B is ultimately also the title of the comprehensive publication, which Ana Torfs conceived in collaboration with the curators. The book, congenially designed by Jurgen Persijn, comprehensively documents Torfs’ oeuvre between 1993 and 2010, with deliberately brief and subjective remarks about each individual work from multiple critical voices.
